O n May 23, the Orbeli Center hosted an expert discussion with analysts from the Polish Institute of International Affairs (PISM), Wojciech Wojtasiewicz and Stefania Kolarz. The meeting served as an opportunity to exchange perspectives on current regional and international developments affecting the South Caucasus.

During the conversation, the experts discussed the ongoing Armenia–Azerbaijan normalization process, recent diplomatic efforts, and the broader regional developments in the South Caucasus. Special attention was given to the issue of unblocking regional connections and the importance of sustainable dialogue, international support, and long-term peacebuilding. In this context, the “Crossroads of Peace” initiative proposed by the Armenian government was highlighted for its potential to promote connectivity and regional cooperation. Additionally, the conversation addressed the state support programs implemented for people forcibly displaced from Nagorno-Karabakh.

Both sides emphasized the importance of continued professional dialogue. An agreement was reached to continue cooperation.
